Enriching Blogs

Men go in search of money, fine tuning themselves to bring the best for their organisation and selves.  But after enriching the organisation and selves with wealth, men of Good Will find there is a conspicous vacuum- something missing in their selves. That yearning is for realisation of the self and cosmic consciousness.  Mr.Tiburtius , a practising philosopher, poet, philanthropist and a great leader takes us on this "Quest Journey"  through his blog http://blog.livingspark.net/ to fill the vacuum to a large extent. I am sure you will be enriched by this Blog.

Kindly visit the website of our Ex-President Dr.Abdul Kalam. His contribution to this country's excellence in technology and spirituality is really great and his thoughts and writings will motivate generations ahead.

My Own experience with traditional herbs.  During my studies, I used to frequent Gopal Rao Public Library, Kumbakonam, a veritable treasure of good collection of books on various subjects.  In fact this library has fired many to lots of innovation and erudition.  In the Ayurvedic Section, I found a practical book on Ayurveda.  I have followed one instruction from the book till today.  I have also instructed many of my friends and relatives to this wonderful practice.  You may also follow this practice for anyone in the family from 5 years onwards: According to Dhanwantri Swamigal if one takes 7 pepper corns, pound it to a nice powder, transfer the same to a small dish, add some honey (2 teaspoons) and triturate well using our right hand ring finger (this finger being connected to the heart meridian, God's abundance grace enters our body).  The trituration must take place for 108 times in a clockwise direction.  During the trituration one should meditate on one's "Ishta Deivam"  After trituration this medicine should be taken on a empty stomach for one "Mandalam"- 48 days.  This medicine is the first line of defence to the body.  It averts any unwanted virus, antibodies entering our body. Further it purifies our blood, respiratory system and rejuvenates the whole body. Relief from any type of toxic fever can be had from this medicine. Practice this with faith and reap the benefits abundantly.

KARMA YOGIS

There are some people who are meticulous in their day to day job.  Duty is their God.  This tribe has a "Never say No" attitude.  Recently my good friend Mr.P.S.Suresh Samuel, was instrumental in achieving a notable feat: Rotomolding a Cardio Vascular hallow part in Polycarbonate! With a strong design team and a tenacious production team in China he has achieved this with much hardship.  I congratulate this positive personality. Have a look at the intricate job done and the man who is the king pin of the project:

PURPOSE OF THE BLOG: From its Author ....

The purpose of the Blog is to provide on a weekly basis thought provoking inputs which would aid in deeper seeking of truth within individuals.
The aim of the author is to look at art, poetry and literature to find hidden messages which the great thinkers, spiritual leaders, poets, sculptors and painters had subtly built into their work.
These works, when confronted, touches the very soul of men and women and unleashes a flood of emotions bordering on the surreal.
This Blog would not serve its purpose without your active participation in terms of providing comments, which would be enriching to the whole community of seekers who regularly look at these pages for empowering nuggets of wisdom.

A posting from his blog

Yesterday I was listening to a very old recording of Leo Tolstoy’s story,‘The Big Oven’ recited by the legendary comedian Danny Kaye. This used to be the favourite of my children in the 1970s. Nostalgia apart, the meaning of the story and the moral it conveyed is prophetic. For those of you who have not heard the story, I will put it in a little capsular form.

The story is about a man (in other narrations of the tale, a couple) whose house has a malfunctioning large oven. Thinking his neighbour to be jealous of his large house and large oven, the character ignores out of hand his neighbour suggestion to have the oven repaired and reduced in size. But even taking into account the ensuing Russian winter, he finds that the oven requires a disproportionately large amount of firewood to maintain a liveable minimum temperature in the house...and ends up having to tear down his fences, outbuildings, and outer rooms for fuel to keep the oven going, until eventually he is left with nothing but the oven itself and has to depend on the charity of someone else to survive till spring.
This is exactly what happens in insensitive consumerism. We are so focused on the oven (comfort level) that we forget the very environment that sustains these resources.
